Christmas season is upon us! It is time to celebrate the birth of our Savior King, to honor him with our whole lives, and to serve those placed around us. 2024 has been a year focused on “Kingdom Come”. The challenge before us now is to practically help usher in and extend God’s Kingdom on earth through our kindness, love, and generosity to our neighbors.

The Christmas Kindness Project will help us be intentional. It includes many different giving and serving opportunities in our church family. This year we are partnering with an Owasso-based ministry, Neighbors in Need, to provide a Christmas blessing to local families in need by collecting food for Christmas baskets and purchasing toys for their children. Additionally, we will have an opportunity to organize their warehouse, assemble food baskets, and assist with distribution later in December. We will also be helping to collect needed items for Pregnancy Resource Center of Owasso through the Ladies’ Christmas Tea. Finally, we will be serving our own body through a church family Christmas Card Post Office and Christmas Caroling.
